ABDOMEN   Abdominoplasty       Abdominoplasty, also called tummy tuck, dramatically reduces protruding abdomens or pouches on the stomach. The abdominoplasty procedure smoothes and flattens the surface of the stomach. During this procedure an incision is made across the lower abdomen. Fat and excess skin is trimmed away and stomach muscles and remaining skin are tightened. The extent of the scar after abdominoplasty depends on if the patient has a complete abdominoplasty or a partial tummy tuck.
